EC15 — A first-generation hybrid from CIRAD and ECOM, crossing the Catimor line 17931 with a wild Ethiopian accession held as ET26 at CATIE. The Catimor parent was itself selected in Nicaragua in the 1990s from Colombian material.

Flavor Profile

Florals and citrus over honey sweetness with bright acidity, clean structure and a black-tea finish.

Brewing Tip

Pour-over at 90-92 °C, 1:15-1:16, medium-fine grind with a brisk first pour, to lift florals and bright acidity.
