Typica

Typica — One of the oldest and most representative Arabica varieties, spread from Yemen via India from the 18th century onwards, and the ancestor of Bourbon, Mundo Novo and many modern cultivars.

Flavor Profile

Clean and sweet with soft, bright acidity - citrus, florals and a light tea-like finish; low yielding and rather disease susceptible.

Brewing Tip

Pour-over at 90-92°C, 1:15 ratio, medium-fine grind, staged pours to keep clarity and sweetness.
