Esperanza

Esperanza — An F1 hybrid of the rust-resistant T5296 with an Ethiopian landrace held as ET25 at CATIE, originally collected by ORSTOM and IRD and bred by the CIRAD-led consortium. Part of the second wave of Central American F1 releases.

Flavor Profile

Citrus and white flowers with honey sweetness, bright fine acidity and a clean cup that stays clear in both filter and cold brew.

Brewing Tip

Pour-over at 90-92 °C, 1:15-1:16, medium-fine grind with a brisk first pour, to lift florals and bright acidity.
