Nayarita

Nayarita — An F1 hybrid of the rust-resistant Catimor-type Naryelis and an Ethiopian wild accession held as ET26 at CATIE, bred by CIRAD with ECOM. It belongs to the later generation of F1 releases designed for smallholder conditions.

Flavor Profile

Florals and citrus opening into honey sweetness, with bright but soft acidity, a clean cup and good overall balance.

Brewing Tip

Pour-over at 90-92 °C, 1:15-1:16, medium-fine grind with a brisk first pour, to lift florals and bright acidity.
