RAB C15

RAB C15 — Released by the Rwanda Agricultural Board in 2015 as a selection of Sln.6, an Indian variety built on Kent and Robusta parentage. Sln.6 was created by Indian breeders and distributed to growers there in the 1970s, then shared with four African countries including Rwanda.

Flavor Profile

Nuts, cocoa and caramel dominate, with very low acidity and a forceful body that stands up to milk.

Brewing Tip

Pour-over at 88-90 °C, 1:14, medium grind with slow pours, keeping bitterness out while staying full-bodied.
