T5296 — One of the most influential rust-resistant plants in modern coffee breeding, a cross of Timor Hybrid CIFC 832/2 with Villa Sarchi and the origin of the Sarchimor group. Because it does not come true from seed it is not planted commercially, yet selections such as Cuscatleco and Parainema, and several F1 hybrids, descend from it.

Flavor Profile

Citrus alongside nuts, with moderate acidity and a clean but fuller body - sitting between Bourbon brightness and the weight of resistant lines.

Brewing Tip

Pour-over at 91-93 °C, 1:15, medium grind, staged pours, balancing body against fruit acidity.
