SL34

SL34 — Selected in the late 1930s from a single tree on the Loresho Estate in Kabete by the Scott Agricultural Laboratories. A Typica type adapted to high altitude and good rainfall; dark bronze shoot tips are its field marker.

Flavor Profile

Blackcurrant, citrus and dark berries over juicy acidity, rounded sweetness and a long clean finish that is hard to mistake.

Brewing Tip

Pour-over at 90-92 °C, 1:15, medium-fine grind, staged pours, to keep clarity and sweetness forward.
