Centroamericano — A first-generation hybrid of the rust-resistant T5296 and the Ethiopian landrace Rume Sudan, bred by CIRAD together with the Central American coffee institutes. Regional trials recorded yields 22-47% above local standards alongside strong cupping scores.

Flavor Profile

Floral and citrus with bright yet refined acidity, full sweetness and a clean finish - often compared with Ethiopian landrace cups.

Brewing Tip

Pour-over at 90-92 °C, 1:15-1:16, medium-fine grind with a brisk first pour, to lift florals and bright acidity.
