Tekisic

Tekisic — Bourbon improved by mass selection at ISIC in El Salvador from 1949 and released in 1977. Excellent cup quality for a traditional selection, but little disease resistance, so it needs a healthy site and attentive management.

Flavor Profile

Citrus and florals over honeyed sweetness with bright, fine acidity and a transparent cup - textbook Bourbon character.

Brewing Tip

Pour-over at 90-92 °C, 1:15, medium-fine grind, staged pours, to keep clarity and sweetness forward.
