AB3 — Chosen directly from an Ethiopian population by Dr P. J. S. Cramer and carried to Indonesia in 1928 along with eleven other introductions. Seven of those accessions were eventually released as AB1 to AB7, grown mostly on the state plantations of Java before later resistant varieties replaced them.
Citrus and florals with a faint black-tea note, delicate acidity, light body and a clean finish - the classic old Ethiopian profile.
Pour-over at 90-92 °C, 1:15, medium-fine grind, staged pours, to keep clarity and sweetness forward.
