According to the Pan American Health Organization, as of mid-April this year, the Americas have recorded over 5.2 million confirmed cases of dengue fever, surpassing the 4.5 million cases reported for the entire previous year.Currently, Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay are the most severely affected by dengue fever in the Americas,with increasing case numbers also being reported in Guatemala, Costa Rica, Mexico, and other areas,accounting for over 90% of the total confirmed cases and more than 83% of the deaths in the region.

According to data from the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Association (Cecafé), in March, the coffee vessel delay rate at the Port of Santos was 80%, up 5 percentage points from February’s 75%, marking the third worst performance since January 2023.
